General Update

Okey dokey, since I can't currently decide what to have for dinner I've decided to post something on my blog in terms of a general update about stuff and things.

1) I'm going to The World Cup in Germany! I have tickets! Well, a ticket, two to be accurate. Tickets, in fact, for my Uncle (Nigel) and I to go and see Tunisia battle Ukraine in Berlin on June 23rd! Huzzah! It may not be a clash of giants, but it is still World Cup football! Seeing as Nigel (the one who got me hooked on Arsenal in the first place) once met a player Arsenal used to have called Oleg Luzhney (spelling?) and shook his hand at an airport we will therefore support his home country - Ukraine. Arsenal have no current players from either Ukraine or Tunisia as far as we know and so this rather strenuous link will do =D

2) I've booked my flights to Europe! I'm off on 26 May and arrive on 12 June as I go to Tahiti (two days), Japan (five days), Bangkok (two days), Hong Kong (two days) and Dubai (three days) on my way to Frankfurt. So I'll probably go diving in Tahiti, on the bullet trains in Japan, indoor skiing in Dubai, who knows what in Bangkok and Hong Kong.......I just felt like going =D

3) Arsenal beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu (spelling?) 1-0! Huzzah! First English team to do so.....despite having no Englishmen in the side.....in fact Real Madrid had two Englishmen in their side and so were, in fact, more English than Arsenal. Real Madrid, being Spanish, had three Spaniards in the side compared with Arsenal's two Spaniards....... 'tis truly an international game.

I'm currently thinking, maybe, pizza? Anyone out there want pizza? I thought as much.
