Cure-iversary

  • Congratulations on the milestone.

You are an absolute legend for handling everything so well.

And to me and the boys you were never "that kid who had cancer" you were always Richard (or Ricardo).

  • Doing the webcast was a great idea. Thank you.

I agree with Michael; you coped brilliantly and were an inspiration to us all.

  • Much love to the far flung parts of the world to reach you man!

You were never that kid with cancer man, you were (And remain) a dude that I really fucking respect, and have a lot of love for.

Ten years is fucking cool! Glad to have you here to celebrate it, and glad to still be among your friends.

Aroha Nui, Kia Kaha, and come home soon! (or don't, whatever you're comfy with!)

  • That's awesome bro!

Having been at the five-year "cure-iversary" and hearing how excited you were about reaching ten years i'm stoked that you've made it.

Couldn't agree more with Mike, you handled it really well at the time and we never considered you as anything less than a great friend.

Can't wait to catch up with you when you get back to NZ.

  • Hey Ricardo!

Great work on the video and congrats on the 10 years. Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks - we might even let Arsenal beat Liverpool as part of your 10th year celebrations, but then again maybe not...!

  • Hey Richard,
randomly looking at your blog and watched your video. I didn't know what type or where your cancer was, as when i met you cancer was never in the picture (you never explained - it was just a thing in the past), so you'll always be Richard, or Ricardo, the man with the terrible moustache. Congratulations on this milestone - you're an amazing person, not just for this but for everything else that you've achieved.

so.... my bestest friend in the world, can i come to stay with you when i visit NZ?
